History of Evergreen Valley Nursing Home

Evergreen Valley Nursing Home is an eighty-nine (89) bed nursing facility providing 24 hour skilled nursing care.

The facility was founded and built by the Sisters of Charity of St. Louis in 1965 as Sacred Heart Nursing Home. Initially, services were provided to sixty-four (64) residents. In 1974, a twenty-five (25) bed addition brought capacity to the current eighty-nine (89) beds. In the Fall of 1994, the Sisters of Charity sold the nursing home to the William Hassett. It was then renamed Evergreen Valley Nursing Home. Below is a slide show with some images from our history. For more information, visit our Grounds / History page.
